Day 3: FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week 2021
The LFW x FDCI Day 3 was everything you would want from a show. It had classic and whimsical styles that offered a playful and a fun vibe.
The day started with Nidhi Yasha’s boho-chic collection that reflected the spirits of intense love and reckless abandon through dramatic sheer layers under the stunning ruffles and fringes. Masaba Gupta’s line was the epitome of fun and easy breezy clothes that aimed to evoke the nostalgic and happy emotions through the revamped signature prints and motifs. The artisanal label P.E.L.L.A introduced its collection of handwoven textiles with creative pattern making and zero-waste management to highlight its stand for slow fashion. Inspired by the phases of the moon, sunsets and blossoming flowers, designers Gauri and Nainika brought a gorgeous bloom of nature to the runway with earthy tones and sky hues. OUTRYT, the newest label of Ajio presented a collection that amalgamated different themes of modern fashion focussing on self expression through the clothes. Featuring a spectacular line of embellished, romantic and artistic designs, Suneet Varma’s collection was a sight to behold with its dramatic silhouettes and delicate work. It proved to be the perfect end to the striking day 3 of LFW.
LFW x FDCI Day 3 continued with a strong and a successful streak. It was a day that brought out the playfulness of the designers along with a slight focus on the modernity of the fashion garments.
