New Delhi:

The beginning of a week is always difficult. After a lazy Sunday, we need all the motivation we can get for the week ahead, and that is exactly what our favourite  Samantha Ruth Prabhu is giving us. Looking radiant as ever, the actress shared a rather candid photo of herself on Instagram. In it, Samantha can be seen lazing on the bed with her hand covering one eye as she smiles for the camera. And if her gorgeous smile doesn't do the trick, Samantha's caption is sure to leave you motivated. Keeping it simple, she wrote, “Wake up. Be wonderful. Repeat.”

And we bet things are working out wonderfully for the actress who is riding high on the praise that is coming her way for her role in the popular web series Family Man 2. The actress recently won an award in the "Best Performance (Female) in Web Series" category at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne Awards.

Acknowledging the award, Samantha Ruth Prabhu wrote a note thanking her directors, Raj and DK. She said, “I am so so grateful...Thank you, Raj and DK for being able to see beyond the 'cute girl' image that many couldn't look past. As an actor, I dreamed of being given such an opportunity. The chance to play a layered and intense role. Raji forced me to dig deep and I am beyond happy today to receive a certificate of approval for the performance.”

Not one to rest on her laurels, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has already wrapped the shoot for her next film, the mythological drama, Shakunthalam, based on the popular Indian play Shakuntala by the great playwright and dramatist Kalidasa.

And no sooner did that shoot end than she began filming for her next, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. The Tamil film is written and directed by Vignesh Shivan. Samantha also shared pictures with the team of the film and how she was spending her time effectively on set and otherwise. Take a look.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu made her debut opposite Naga Chaitanya in 2010 with Ye Maaya Chesave. She is best known for work in films such as Oh! Baby, Majili, Eega, Rangasthalam, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. She is married to actor Naga Chaitanya.
