Salads are the most obvious choice for dieters but if you want to try something different that is nutrient-rich and tastes good too, this healthy bowl of grilled vegetables is worth trying. A variety of nutrient-rich veggies, perked up with an interesting dressing, is just what you need to whet your appetite without feeling overly stuffed.

It is a mash-up of different vegetables that complement each other in this bowl of health. Protein-rich chickpeas (chane) are the highlight of this dish. Chickpeas are combined with the vegetables of broccoli, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, asparagus, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes. This meal is light, fresh and so delicious that you'll forget you are dieting. And yes, you can pick veggies of your choice to be paired with chickpeas.

Sauteed and seasoned chickpeas are tossed with veggies that are grilled in the air fryer. If you don't have air fryer at home, you can grill them in an oven or on stove. A handful of common spices are added to flavour the chane and veggies. A tangy dressing of olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar, sugar, salt, black pepper and ginger juice lifts up the taste of this healthy meal. You can replace sugar with honey for sweetness.
