Cyclone Nisarga Tracker, Weather forecast Today Live Updates: Severe cyclonic storm Nisarga has weakened into a deep depression and now moves northeastwards towards Nashik, Dhule and Nandurbar districts, which may witness heavy showers with gusty winds, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. Meanwhile, two people died in separate incidents related to heavy rain in Raigad district, where the cyclone made landfall at around 12.30 pm.
At 8:30 pm, the storm lay about 120 km east-northeast of Alibag, 100 km east of Mumbai and 85 km north of Pune. The current wind speed of the storm has also reduced to 65-75 kilometres per hour. Districts such as Raigad, Palghar, Thane and Mumbai were affected by the cyclonic storm.
