July Wholesale Inflation Eases To 5.09% Vs 5.77% In June
Wholesale inflation for July eases to 5.09 per cent against 5.77 per cent in June, showed official data. Wholesale inflation stood at 1.88 per cent during the corresponding month of the previous year.
The build-up in inflation rate in the financial year so far is 2.92 per cent compared to a build-up rate of 0.62 per cent in the corresponding period of the previous year, stated an official statement from the government.
On Monday, retail inflation rate eased to 4.17 per cent in July after touching a five-month high of 5 per cent in the previous month.
